A little about us...
Hello! I’m Julia Dixon, known as Jules.
I’m from North Yorkshire and live near Bedale. My passion for leatherwork started in 2010 after training with a Master Saddler in Cumbria, initially focusing on equine crafts due to my lifelong love for horses and country life.
During the winter lockdown of 2020/21, I turned my ideas into reality, creating a range of products from Harris Tweed photo frames to feathered boot tassels. I enjoy combining leather with various materials and adding my unique twist.
Jarvey Leather is named after my beloved horse, The Jarvey, aka Maurice. Our 18 years together were treasured, highlighted by winning the Pony Club Eventing Championships in 1994.
All Jarvey Leather products are handmade and hand-stitched by me at my parents' farmhouse kitchen table, with their supportive understanding.
